     Big Brother Naija Season 6 highlight The highly waited season 6 reality show in Nigeria, Big Brother Naija, is back and would premiere by 7 pm today (Saturday).

this edition of the show will be hosted by one and only known Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who is known for his amazing fashion sense in and out of the show.

 

 

       Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which, contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favourite housemates to remain in the show.

The first season of the show first aired on M-Net and DStv Channel 37 from 5 March to 4 June 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes.

 

 

Here are some things you should know about this year’s edition.

1. The sixth edition of the show will commence on Saturday, July 24, 2021, instead of a Sunday as they’ve done in the past five seasons.

2. The first live show would be viewed on Saturday at 7 pm and the second session on Sunday at 7 pm. This implies that there will be two sets of housemate introductions, the first batch would be introduced on Saturday while the other would be done on Sunday.

3. The show will be held for 72 days and will end on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

4. The popular host of the show remains, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

5. MultiChoice will announce two different currencies that housemates will use for transactions in the house on Saturday.

6. The winner of season 6 will walk away with 90 million Naira ( #90,000,000,) worth of prizes. They’ll get 30 million Naira in cash and 60 million Naira worth of other gifts, including an SUV, a house, trips, and other goodies from sponsors.

7. The voting system is also changing this year. Viewers can now show support for their faves via web and mobile app voting options. As usual, they’ll get voting capacity based on the standard of their subscriptions. This means that DStv Premium customers will automatically get more chances to vote than others
