The appointment which was  still  awaiting approval by the Governing Council of the institution UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT

According to the statement by the PRO “the Vice Chancellor, Professor Owunari Georgewill, described Professor Efemini as a man of ideas, whose contributions had assisted the growth of the University.”

The Vice Chancellor made the remark when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.

The recent appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic of University of Port Harcourt, Professor Andrew Efemini has been announce dead – as we report @ thenigeriafm.com

According to the news  we heard from his friends and family he died on a Saturday morning, some weeks after he was announce as the DVC of UNIPORT.
His friends shared that the cause of his death was as a result of a disease.

A single word has not declared from the family or the institution for his sudden death,

The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Andrew Efemini is dead.
Professor Efemini died on Saturday, 31 July, at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
