Purpose of Job

• Ensure that the job is done in a timely manner.The goal is to improve the efficiency of machinery and equipment. Reduce breakdowns and ensure equipment dependability and maintainability by designing and implementing maintenance plans, policies, and activities across all plants.

 

 

 

 

 

• Perform routine checks on automated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate faults, and repairkaging of agreed-upon quantities of items to fulfill sales and distribution predictions
  On a daily basis, ensures that production plans in terms of quantity and quality are met.
  Prepare the plant and equipment for use in the production process.
  Make sure that all shifts have access to packaging and raw supplies.
  Reports on production activity on a daily basis.
  The cl is monitored and enforced.

Vacancy space for Packing Operator BFC – Cereal Mill

Key Accountabilities

• Development, implementation and review of maintenance schedules-Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual checklist for automated systems to eliminate equipment breakdown and downtime in plants.
• Troubleshooting automation/electrical/instrumentation malfunctions and breakdowns as well as performing repairs.

 

 

 

• Establish, implement and review maintenance policies, strategies and plans in compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement approved technical projects- production facilities re-design, installation of new plants and equipment and commissioning in line with global standards.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.

 

 

 

 

• Identify areas of improvement, innovation and implement approved request to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Update necessary reports, records

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Reports To: Engineering Manager

 

Education and Experience

• Trade Test, NABTEB, OND, HND or related qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a reputable manufacturing/production company with hands-on in general electrical and electronic functions.
