Queen’s offers a variety of scholarships to students entering the first year of any first-entry undergraduate program of study to reward the high level of academic excellence shown by many of our new International and U.S. students.
How to apply for jobs and scholarship in Canada
Eligibility
You must be an international student to be considered for most International Admission Scholarships & Awards (Canadian citizens, including those students holding dual-citizenship, and permanent residents do not qualify for these awards)
• enrolling in their first year of post-secondary study (graduates of a two-year CEGEP program who transfer to their second year of a Queen’s program are still eligible for Admission Scholarships and Awards)

Calculation of Academic Means
The following awards average is utilized for scholarship consideration, unless otherwise stated:
• Students enrolled in various types of education:
The Awards Average is determined using the same formula and criteria as were used to determine admission.
• Students enrolled in the Ontario curriculum (OSSD Curriculum): 4U English and five other 4U or 4M level courses.
• Students from other provinces and territories in Canada:
Academic subjects from grade 12 as specified in the Bachelor of Arts program’s General Admission criteria.
Scholarships for Automatic Entry (no application required)
The scholarship recipients will be chosen by a computer program. All qualified applicants are automatically considered for the following entrance scholarships when they apply for admission to Queen’s University.

Excellence Scholarship
Total Value: $1,500
