IT Vendor Relationship Lead: Working as a vital part of our IT team at our Eastleigh office, we have an exciting and newly formed post as an IT Vendor Relationship Lead. The position was developed to assist our IT Vendor Relationship Manager in meeting business objectives related to vendor relationship management for our critical material vendors.

You will be a Subject Matter Expert in the field of System Integration as the IT Vendor Relationship Lead, and you will collaborate closely with our external providers and internal transformation team. You’ll be in charge of providing benefits by ensuring that contractual partnerships deliver on value and customer objectives, as well as monitoring critical vendor and supplier performance.

Please note that Ageas employs a hybrid work style in which employees spend two days per week in the office and three days per week working from home with the support of required technology.

As the IT Vendor Relationship Lead, your main responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities as an IT Vendor Relationship Manager To monitor vendor performance, build and manage supplier relationships in order to defend Ageas interests and guarantee that costs represent fair market value.

Ensure that commercial terms for strategic IT contracts benefit both Ageas and the customer by facilitating commercial terms talks and contract value alongside or supporting the Central Procurement Team as needed.

Contribute to the Ageas Transformation Plan’s implementation, with a focus on IT elements.

On projects involving IT Vendors, act as a subject matter expert.

Maintain a keen knowledge of InsureTech/FinTech innovation and prospects.

Identify, report, and manage vendor hazards, whether they are current or foreseeable.

Develop effective strategic connections with key suppliers to ensure long-term company value.

Monitor Key Vendor performance against contractual agreements, ensuring a coordinated strategy in terms of performance, delivery, and compliance across the IT Directorate.

Lead vendor commercial meetings to ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs/Service Credits, among other things, in order to create positive outcomes for Ageas and our clients.

Determine the risks, obligations, and commitments associated with negotiated agreements.

Ensure that appropriate controls, such as invoice management and T&M controls, are in place to manage vendor spend.p Lead:

As an IT Vendor Relationship Lead, you’ll require the following skills and expertise.

Working with IT vendors in the Financial Services Market, such as system integrators and FinTech platform providers, has shown to be successful.

Proven experience working with IT contracts comprising complex modifications and clauses, as well as a strong grasp of how to argue and negotiate contract financial terms as a lead or as part of a negotiating team.

Proven ability to negotiate and interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to test and criticize business assumptions.

Capacity to successfully communicate; ability to build rapport and sustain a network of relationships.

Ability to prepare service metrics as well as analyze and evaluate data/metrics has been demonstrated.
