Overview of the Position
The Brand Representative – Stockroom Specialist, who reports to the Retail Leadership, builds relationships, shares product knowledge, and presents a clean, well-maintained store environment to boost revenue and deliver great service to guests. The Stockroom Specialist is responsible for monitoring shipment receipts, stockroom organization, and/or online order fulfillment. Individual targets are consistently met, which helps the store reach its objectives.

Qualifications for the Position
People • Anticipates guests’ needs, exceeds expectations, and adheres to the Altar’d State service standards • Acknowledges, interacts with, and builds relationships with guests; creates guest loyalty • Receives positive, unsolicited guest feedback on a regular basis • Communicates effectively with store management and guests • Treats others fairly, with respect, and values differences; does not pass judgment on potential guests
Process
• Within 24 hours, all shipments should be dated, classified by category, and processed. As time permits and with management consent, the stockroom specialist may transport things to the sales floor. The stockroom specialist is responsible for reporting any discrepancies or difficulties to the Operations Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and/or Distribution Center. Direct channel of communication will be determined on a store by store basis.
• Ensure that all backstock is sorted and placed in specified areas in the stockroom, as well as fixtures, cleaning supplies, hardware bins, bags, tissue, and other goods kept in the stockroom. • The stockroom should be kept neat, clean, and organized at all times. • Hangers should be packaged, labeled, and put out of the way. All trash and boxes should be emptied on a daily basis and should never be left to accumulate over several days. The floor should be swept every day and mopped once a week. The closing team should collect trash and place it near the back door. Whether there are any old displays or window props, check with the Visual or Store Manager to see if they should be discarded.
• Oversee the off-site storage facility (if applicable)
• Follows management’s opening/closing procedures and tasks with a focus on the guests.
• Adheres to loss prevention practices and is aware of and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control and protect Company assets • Is able to locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization • Is able to perform register transactions quickly and efficiently • Is able to process transactions accurately, as well as handle cash and provide change without error
• Notifies to work on time; accurately records time worked utilizing Altar’d State’s time and attendance system; remains adaptable to the needs of the business • Maintains a safe work environment and reports any potential dangers to leadership
Presentation
• Assists with the setup of merchandising and window displays.
• Ensures that the store is kept clean and appealing.
• Represents the brand by dressing and grooming in a professional manner.
Qualifications
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical ability to complete jobs that demand frequent standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting. Depending on the area, you may be required to climb ladders on occasion and ascend and descend stairs frequently. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds without help on a daily basis.
