UTME and DE payments will be collected by the board on behalf of the numerous Cbt Test (CBT) Centers beginning with the 2022 UTME and DE exercise, and the board will then distribute the funds to each registration center on an as-needed basis.

Check Your Eligibility
Candidates can check their eligibility for selected programs and institutions on https://www.jamb.gov.ng/quicklink and then ibass.jamb.gov.ng/quicklink.html.
When applying for a position, it is critical that candidates double-check the requirements before moving forward. The eligibility checker provides candidates with a list of program (course) options that are appropriate for their qualifications.
There will be no double registration.

Candidates are not permitted to register more than once, according to the Board of Directors. The Board, on the other hand, explained that in the event of an error during the registration process, candidates should seek correction from the Board rather than submitting a new application, as doing so would result in disciplinary action being taken.
The Development of a Profile
Every candidate would be required to register using a recognizable phone (mobile) number (SIM) in order to complete the registration process. The unique phone number can be used by one candidate only. Candidates should be aware that their candidate identification number (SIM) will continue to serve as a unique identifier for all transactions with the Board.
Candidates will text their National Identification Number (NIN) to either 55019 or 66019 from their personal GSM phone number, indicating that they are applying for a position in the country. Create a message that includes your 11-digit NIN Number and the letters ‘NIN’ followed by a space and send it to 55019 or 66019 in this style (NIN 00123456789).
In between the words ‘NIN’ and your 11-digit NIN, there should be a space (keep in mind that the number cannot have been used by another person to register for UTME/DE in the past).
Candidates are recommended not to use Postpaid or special bundle packages since they do not work unless they have been specially filled with credit prior to using them.
Candidate will receive a Profile Code of ten characters on the same telephone (SIM) number that he or she used to apply.
A text message sent to the candidate’s phone (mobile) number is automatically associated with the candidate’s name and will be used in all future communication pertaining to that candidate.
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, candidates should take note of and constantly remember the sim number they used, as it is critical for subsequent communication with the board.
When you obtain the UTME/DE application documents, you are agreeing to receive text messages from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) (55019 or 66019) even when the “do not disturb” setting is turned on.
The candidate will present the profile code at the time of application document procurement from financial institutions (banks, MMOs, MFBs, switches, and USSD partners). Once this is done, an ePIN is given to the candidate’s phone via text message.
The candidate will produce the Profile code as well as the ePIN at any JAMB authorized CBT Center in order to complete the registration process.
After the candidate’s biometrics (all ten fingers) have been collected and a physical photograph taken, the Board stated that the application would not be complete until this has been done (No submission of passport photograph).
A candidate’s registration slip will be authorized to be printed once his or her biometrics and photograph have been successfully captured. It would be necessary to submit a fingerprint in order to complete any further transactions with JAMB pertaining to the candidate’s profile.
Only those candidates who pass the biometric verification process on the day of the examination will be permitted to appear for the UTME.
No, not to your parents or a proxy
The Board made it clear that no transaction on the candidate’s profile would be permitted by the candidate’s parents or any other proxy.
The only location where candidates with biometric difficulties can register is at the JAMB offce
Provisions should be provided for this through state offices of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
When you have misplaced your Profile Code, send the word [RESEND] as a text message to 55019 or 66019 from the same mobile number that you used to create it.
The registration procedure, as well as all actions on candidates’ profiles, are being closely monitored by the Board, and any who fail to comply will face serious repercussions.
Any applicant who makes his or her password, profile code, or other security codes available to another person (parents, friends, tutorial teachers, fraudsters, or anyone else) is accountable for any alteration made by that person or group of people (s).
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) urges candidates not to discuss their password with anybody, even its personnel, and that the codes should not be asked at any registration center by anyone for any reason.
