Npower selects 75k Nexit applicants for training next week

 

 

 

Following a proposal by the South African media and publicity to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, training of the first batch of 75,600 exited Beneficiaries from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is proposed to begin next week in Abuja for the five-day entrepreneurial training, after which they will be eligible for loans from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.

The training agencies for these 75600 Nexit applicants have already contacted them via email with information about the training schedule. You should be patient if you have not been invited to a training session because the training organization conducts invitations differently in each state.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SA Media to Minister Nneka Ikem previously claimed that 230,000 people successfully logged into the USSD code to confirm their residences and readiness for the #NEXIT training programme during the confirmation of availability stage of the training availability confirmation stage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may recall that when the CBN established the portal, just 370,000 Npower exiting recipients were claimed to have expressed an interest, according to the CBN. And if 230,000 Nexit candidates used the USSD code to confirm their availability for training, it means that at least 140,000 applicants have not yet successfully confirmed their availability for the training.

It is for the exited Npower batches A and B beneficiaries. The training is being provided by the Federal Government in cooperation with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide empowerment business training and loan as an exit package to the disengaged Npower volunteers. The training will be officially launched by the Federal Government next week, according to a press release.
