The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has provided a new update about the payment of the Npower Batch C stipend in January, which was previously announced.
The Npower administration, via its Facebook page, explained why they are unable to provide the Npower Batch C beneficiaries with an exact payment date for the month of January.
According to NASIMS, “Dear Npower Batch C1” means “Dear Npower C1.”

In response to repeated inquiries from Batch C Beneficiaries on the commencement of January stipend payments, our attention has been called to the fact that our clarity had bordered on the misconception.
“Just to be clear, your January 2022 payment is now being reviewed and is nearing completion,” says the letter. Therefore, payment will be commenced at some point in the near future as the outstanding debts from 2021 are slowly but steadily cleared away. More specifically, the technological difficulties we’ve been experiencing have also played a role in the payment inconsistencies. For the time being, we are unable to provide a specific start date for the payment of January 2022 stipends; however, we can assure you that your January payment will be launched as soon as possible.
In spite of seven months of employment, beneficiaries have yet to receive a three-month stipend from NASIMS, since the agency has only issued four-month stipends to the batch C1 Npower beneficiaries. It has been determined that the payment from September to December 2022 will be paid, and that the remaining payment from January to February 2022 will be covered.
