The International Undergraduate Emergency Financial Assistance Fund (International Undergraduate EFA Fund) was established to provide financial assistance to international undergraduates in need of financial assistance.
Foreign undergraduate students encounter a variety of unanticipated and unusual challenges, including ongoing suffering connected to the COVID-19 pandemic and the catastrophic consequences of the war in Ukraine. Gifts are utilized to address these and other issues faced by international undergraduate students. In addition, support for this fund assists Penn in ensuring that our overseas undergraduates can complete their studies without interruption despite facing extreme circumstances.
The International Financial Assistance Fund (International Financial Assistance Fund)
The Dr. Ambrose C. Davis Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2007 to provide financial assistance to overseas undergraduate students who were inspired by Dr. Davis’s vision and dedication to their field. During the ten years after the fund was founded, its assets have nearly doubled in value. Gifts to the fund of any level enable Penn to provide financial assistance to exceptional overseas undergraduate students while also honoring the University’s tradition of diversity, inclusion, and academic distinction.
The Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business Endowed Scholarship is named after Huntsman, who founded the program.
A unique and multidisciplinary undergraduate course of study, The Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business at Penn mixes business education with advanced language training as well as a liberal arts background. A group of Huntsman graduates from the Classes of 2006 and 2011 came together in 2016 to create the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business Endowed Scholarship. In addition to demonstrating how much these alumni value their time at Penn, the establishment of this scholarship demonstrates their understanding of the need of giving financial aid to brilliant students from throughout the world. The Huntsman Program Scholarship allows donors to support deserving Huntsman Program students at any level of contribution.
