Actress Mary Mara 61 of “Ray Donovan” is believed to have drowned –
Mary Mara, a 61-year-old actress, is believed to have drowned to death.
She was most recognized for her role as Mrs. Sullivan on “Ray Donovan,” and on Sunday morning (26.06.22), her lifeless body was discovered in the St. Lawrence River near Cape Vincent, about 90 miles north of Syracuse.

Only on Monday night, June 27, 2022, when New York State Troopers responding to a 911 call confirmed the discovery, did word reach the public. “On June 26, 2022, at 8:10 am, State Police responded to 33753 Old Farm Road in the town of Cape Vincent, Jefferson County for a reported possible drowning, ” they said.
“A female body was found in the St. Lawrence River when troopers, Cape Vincent Fire, and Ambulance arrived on the site.
The victim has been named as Mary T. Mara, 61, of Cape Vincent, New York.
The man may have drowned while swimming, according to the preliminary inquiry.
The body of the victim, which had no indications of malicious intent, was taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to establish the precise cause of death. The inquiry is still ongoing.
Mara may have been in the river exercising after visiting her sister.
Over the course of her more than three decades-long career, Mara appeared in over 20 films and 40 television programs, such as “The West Wing,” “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,”
‘NYPD Blue’ and ‘Lost’.
Mara’s last credit was a role in 2020’s ‘Break Even’.
