Rema’s “Calm Down” Remix Features Selena Gomez A brand new version of Rema’s smash single “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez has just been released, and it’s been remixed by Afrorave singer Rema.
In the early part of this week, both Selena and Rema dropped hints about the forthcoming remix on their own social media platforms, with Selena posting a video that showed the two artists collaborating and having fun together.
The release of the Calm Down remix comes a few weeks after a video of Selena meeting Rema at his Rave & Roses Tour went viral on social media. The two were performing together at the event. In addition, Selena shared a black and white photo of herself along with Rema on her Instagram account with the phrase “coming soon.”
Rema’s “Calm Down” Remix Features Selena Gomez
Calm Down is the second song that Rema has released from Rave & Roses, which is his first studio album. The single was initially published in February as a precursor to the album, which was released in March. On the remix, Selena does an excellent job of complementing the feel that Rema is going for while keeping the same tempo as the original release. Both performers are able to pull off an incredible symphony, with Selena complementing Rema as he performs the infectious chorus to Calm Down.
The fanbase of Rema has shown their appreciation for the cooperation by giving good feedback on social media in response to the remix.
On the official page of her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, Selena has posted a teaser for what appears to be the music video for the new Calm Down remix. During the song’s performance in the music video, Selena can be seen leaning against a grey Porsche while Rema sits inside the vehicle. A clean lyric video is being released alongside the new release today, allowing a first look into the set for the highly anticipated visuals. The official music video is scheduled to be released the following week.
