Recruitment INEC in Preparation for the 2023 General Election The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1999 tasked the Independent National Electoral Commission, also known as INEC, with a number of responsibilities, one of which was to arrange elections for various political posts around the country.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Adhoc Staff Recruitment for the year 2023 in the following capacities:

1.) Supervising Officer Serving as the Presiding Officer (SPO)
2.) The Presidency, Comprised of the Presiding Officer (PO) and the Assistant Presiding Officer (APO)
3.) The Technician in the Registration Area (RATECH)
4.) RAC Manager
Location: Nationwide
Criteria for Eligibility 1.) Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) Institution of Origin and Qualifications
Federal Public / Civil Service / MDAs – Employees on GL 10-14 (Priority is given to MDAs. qualified staff of NYSC / NOA / NIMC) Priority is given to MDAs.
RAOs and other INEC staff members who are not currently engaged in any other responsibilities (GL 10 – 14).
2.) Source Institution and Qualification for the Presiding Officer (PO) and the Assistant Presiding Officer (APO)
Members of the National Youth Service Corps
Ex-members of the NYS Civilian Reserve who served after 2018 (i.e 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021).
Students who are in their penultimate year and have one year left till they graduate from a federal or state tertiary institution
Permanent employees of MDAs (both federal and state) who are on the GL 07–10 grade level.
3.) The RAC Manager’s Original Educational Background and Certification
The head of the school or an employee with a GL 07 or above must be present in order for the school or institution to be considered the RAC or Super RAC host.
4.) Registration Area Technician (RATECH) Source Institution and Qualification Source Institution:
INEC Staff consists of appropriate members of the Commission’s information and communications technology (ICT) staff, both at the state and the headquarters level, who are not otherwise employed.
Members of the National Youth Service Corps serving in the Commission (where available).
Standard Requirements for All Available Positions
The applicants are required to not be members of any political party.
Applicants are expected to have no affiliation with any political party or candidate, either evidenced or indicated.
Applicants are need to be residents of the chosen state.
The deadline for submission of applications is at 8:00 PM on the 14th of December in 2022.
