All candidates who have successfully completed their online registration in the ongoing 9th regular intake application are invited to participate in the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil (POLACphysical )’s and credential screening exercise. This exercise is scheduled to take place at designated venues in States across the Federation and in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from Monday, September 26th, 2022 to Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at 08:00 hours daily. As a result, all applicants are required to travel to their respective state of origin and present themselves at the various screening centers wearing clean white T-shirts and shorts. In addition, they are required to bring the following mandatory basic screening requirements, which should be neatly organized in two white flat files and have recent passport photographs attached to them:
Documentation from a medical facility approved by the government attesting to one’s physical and mental health
Evidence of the applicant’s good character provided by the head of the village or district
Certificate of indigenous ancestry with the signature of the Chairman or Secretary of the Local Government Your National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
Original and duplicate copies of your credentials, including your O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin, and Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, as well as your Jamb Result Original and duplicate copies of your credentials print out

Any applicant who does not present the things listed above (i-viii) will be disqualified from further consideration in the screening process.
It is strongly recommended that applicants pay close attention to both the general and specific instructions included in the screening exercise. In the meantime, the Commandant, AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, psc (+), mni, has given his word that the Statutory Entry Requirements into the Force, which are outlined in great detail in the Police Act and Regulations, will be adhered to in an exacting manner.

He mentioned that the officials who were deployed for the exercise had been given the directive to make sure that all of the applicants who had been shortlisted were allowed to participate and to recommend their suitability or lack thereof in the spirit of transparency, accountability, and fair hearing by using the already established benchmarks that were contained in the Act. While reiterating that the automated physical screening exercise is completely free of charge, the Commandant advised applicants to be wary of criminal elements who may want to take undue advantage of the exercise to perpetrate scams. Commandant’s advice was given despite the fact that the exercise is completely free of charge. On the other hand, he issued a warning that anyone who was discovered to be in the wrong would be forced to face the full force of the law.
