In the texts, Musk expressed his desire to avoid being in charge, to which Agrawal replied, “Treat me like an engineer instead of a CEO.”

According to Tech Crunch’s reporting of the conversation, Musk said to Agrawal, “Honestly, I detest managing things. I kind of feel like I shouldn’t be anyone’s boss. But I enjoy being able to assist in technical/product design issues.”

In response, Agrawal said that he also did not want to be regarded like a CEO.

Musk stated that despite having numerous ideas, “I just want Twitter to be as fantastic as possible.”
