Today Google is releasing Chrome enhancements for Android tablets  The corporation is preparing for the debut of the Pixel Tablet next year.
With today’s upgrade to Chrome on Android, which focuses on improving tab navigation, Google has shifted its focus to tablets.

 

The update offers a side-by-side tab layout that makes it easier to switch between open pages, as well as an auto-scroll back function that takes you immediately to your previous tab. The new Chrome for Android will remove the close button from each tab when they grow too small, so eliminating accidental departures. In addition, there is a new visual tab layout that organizes tabs in a grid and displays a preview of each page.

Google is also integrating drag-and-drop functionality between apps, allowing you to drag an image, text, or link from Chrome to Gmail, Photos, or other programs. Chrome on Android finally gains desktop mode with the release of today’s update.
